Counselling – Clarity and Calm
I’m an experienced psychotherapist, coach and supervisor working from quiet modern rooms in Broadwater, Worthing. I work with a wide range of issues and goals to help you to get to where you want to be.
I provide both counselling and coaching and supervision – in person and online, and I’m registered with Bupa and Aviva.
How can counselling help you?
My counselling approach is essentially integrative, which means I work with a range of approaches based upon ‘what works’.
Integrative psychotherapy describes a psychotherapy approach in which elements from different schools of psychotherapy may be used.
The word ‘integrative’ in Integrative psychotherapy may also refer to integrating the personality and making it cohesive, and to the bringing together of the “affective, cognitive, behavioural, and physiological systems within a person”.
In more straightforward language, looking at the different aspects of ourselves to create a sense of understanding, harmony and clarity about who we are, issues we have to work through and how to fully be ourselves in the World.
I work collaboratively with clients in a calm and supportive way, drawing upon my own experience and the latest insights from theory, neuroscience and the quality of the therapeutic relationship.
